Dear Friends
In September 2014, a delegation of the “World Organization of Immigrants from Zakerepia – Transcarpathia” went to Munkács. The purpose of the trip was to inaugurate a sign in Hebrew, English and Ukrainian on the building of the Hebrew Gymnasium in the city, which marked its 90th anniversary (in August 1924). The visit was recorded in the following film, which was photographed by Zsuzsa Shiri and her crew. Apart from documenting the ceremony, the visit of some of the members was extensively documented, and thus one can be impressed by life in the Carpathians after World War II.
